Our Food Creating the right menu with A Wild Thyme is a mouth watering experience. We invite you to view our selection of sample menus for ideas and inspiration and then contact one of our experienced event designers to create a custom menu for your event.A Wild Thyme advocates sustainable food practices. Our clients have our promise that only the finest and freshest ingredients are used at A Wild Thyme, many from local resources, and you will taste the difference. Most all of our menus are custom created with your tastes in mind, and the result is a culinary experience that will delight your senses and impress your guests no matter what your occasion.Any menu you create can be turned into a full-service, hassle-free party solution with the addition of professional service staffing, which, along with your standard service charge, includes complimentary access to our in-house inventory of décor, linens, service items, dining items, and more. Outside rentals can be facilitated at cost plus a small service charge. A Wild Thyme is proud to be an eco-friendly party production company and encourages all clients to entertain with non-disposable service items.GENERAL INFORMATIONA 50% non-refundable deposit is required when your event is booked within three months of the event date, with the balance due two weeks prior to your event. We accept payment by check, Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express. For regular/repeat customers, we can create a House Account, which requires that a valid credit card be on file prior to order confirmation.To ensure premium quality and availability, orders must be placed at least one week in advance, though notice of one month or more is preferred for maximum options and availability. Final headcount and requests for décor or other service inventory is also due one week prior to your event. New orders and changes to existing orders that occur within one week of the event date may be accommodated based on availability but could be subject to rush charges.Cancellations made within one week of the event date are subject to payment in full.Special dietary needs can be creatively accommodated - please ask for details.Orders prepared with free-range meats and organic produce are subject to market price fluctuations.Ingredients and prices are subject to change without notice.Delivery within a 25-mile radius of downtown Castle Rock is included in standard service charges. Additional rates of $2 per mile apply to deliveries beyond a 25-mile radius.Orders will be delivered within a 30-minute window of time as requested by the client or required by A Wild Thyme to allow for adequate set-up.Access to in-house rental inventory is included in standard service charges when A Wild Thyme professional service staff is also used. Biodegradable disposable plates, napkins, cups, and flatware are available for an additional $2-3 per person. Biodegradable disposable tablecloths are available for an additional fee—please ask for a quote.Tables, chairs, and other outside rental items can be sourced on your behalf for cost plus a 25% service charge. These items can be added to your invoice for simplified event coordination.Professional servers, bartenders, chefs, etc. are available upon request with or without a catering order. Rates begin at $25 per hour for servers and bartenders, $40 per hour for cooks/chefs. A 4-hour labor minimum applies.

Instead, all clients who book a full service catering package qualify for event planning services and access to our beautiful in-house inventory of linens, decor, and service items. At A Wild Thyme, you will get so much more than great food - you'll get great value, too.

Rentals A Wild Thyme does something that few caterers do, and that is to maintain an in-house inventory of beautiful rental items for your event. From the most elegant silk linen to the smallest appetizer fork, A Wild Thyme believes that great food tastes even better when it's well-presented. In fact, many of our customers keep coming back to a Wild Thyme because our presentation is so unique. Unlike a typical catering presentation, every event produced by A Wild Thyme looks like an upgrade, even when it includes our basics. And speaking of basics, don't expect to get nickle-and-dimed by A Wild Thyme. In order to make stylish events accessible to all of our clients, we decided to include access to our beautiful inventory at no additional cost above and beyond our standard service charges. This means that you get all the extra value without the extra cost.

Service Staff For flawless set-up, execution, and clean-up, don't forget to include highly trained and professional service staff as part of your catering package from A Wild Thyme. Service staff is recommended at the average rate of one staff person per 20-40 guests depending on your menu and type of service, and is required if you intend to use our in-house service and decor inventory.If you are more of a DIY entertainer who just wants to spend more quality time with your guests, our professional service staff is also available for hire by the hour (a four hour minimum per staffer applies).
